celebyachts is an independent journalism and data service. We report on notable vessels using publicly broadcast AIS data and open records. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any vessel, owner, operator, builder, or flag state named on the site.
Positions are derived from third-party public AIS broadcasts and may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or absent (for example, when a transponder is off). The Services are for informational and editorial purposes only. Do not rely on them for navigation, safety of life at sea, collision avoidance, insurance decisions, or any operational maritime use.
You agree not to use the Services to harass, stalk, surveil, or endanger any individual; to determine the real-time physical location of a specific person; to scrape or resell data except as permitted by a paid API plan; or to violate any applicable law.
API access requires an account and a valid plan. Keys are personal to your organization and must be kept secret. We may enforce rate limits, revoke keys for abuse, and change endpoints with reasonable notice. Billing is handled by Stripe; fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
If you are an owner, representative, or subject and believe something is inaccurate, contact the editor. We log corrections transparently and will amend material shown to be wrong or that creates a genuine safety risk.
The Services are provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, celebyachts is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services or reliance on the data.
